PRESS: TotalEnergies, Zarubezhneft deal on Kharyaga unwinning

MOSCOW, Jul 7 (PRIME) -- The deal of French oil and gas company TotalEnergies selling its stake in Russia’s Kharyaga oil field to Russian oil company Zarubezhneft can be unwinning as envisages zeroing of the investment in the project, Kommersant business daily reported on Thursday.

“According to the sources, the deal can be unwinning as it envisages zeroing of Total’s obligations on investment in Kharyaga,” the daily reported without giving the quotes.

Reuters reported on Wednesday that TotalEnergies wanted to sell its 20% stake in Kharyaga to Zarubezhneft, and to keep its stakes in Russia's Terneftegaz, Arctic LNG, Yamal LNG and Novatek.
